Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership position that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
– Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants
– Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in delivering patient care according to established protocols and standards
– Monitor patient progress and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented as needed
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
– Conduct regular performance evaluations of nursing staff and provide feedback for professional development
– Assist in resolving patient care issues and address any concerns or complaints from patients or their families
– Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
Qualifications:
– Valid nursing license in the state of Ohio
– Proven experience as a Nursing Supervisor or similar role
– In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure
– Knowledge of specialized areas such as dementia care, ophthalmology, sterile processing, etc.
– Familiarity with medical office operations and electronic health records systems
