Responsibilities:
– Conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine nutritional needs
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized dietary plans
– Provide nutrition education and health coaching to patients and their families
– Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress towards their nutritional goals
– Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and guidelines
– Supervise and manage the operations of the dietary department
– Provide leadership and guidance to nutrition services staff
– Assist with tube feeding and other specialized nutrition interventions
Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field
– Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
– Knowledge of human physiology and its relation to nutrition
– Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments
– Proficiency in supervising and managing a team
