Dr. Bishop graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, WV School of Osteopathy in 1994 and specializes in Geriatric and Family Medicine.

Dr. Shahed graduated from Aleppo University in 2001 and did his residency Case Western Reserve/St. Vincent Charity Hospital in 2005. He specializes in Long Term Care Geriatric Medicine.

George Dubic, LNHA

Bio

George comes to us with over 20 years’ experience in healthcare administration, having operated multiple areas of acute and long-term care: including, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH), Assisted Living and, most recently, serving residents in a very fast-paced long-term rehabilitation environment.

Having also spent a considerable amount of time in social services, admissions, and marketing roles, George believes strongly in the importance of a positive team-based culture that places focus on the customer experience and strives to provide residents the care they deserve.

“I believe in and put my faith in people. Working together as a team, our caregivers can give our residents the best of them each day. There isn’t a greater service a person can provide in this world than to care for another human life. While our product isn’t tangible, you can certainly feel it when done the right way.”

George loves spending time with his family and is an avid sports fan, especially with his Browns. He has also coached baseball for the past 13 years and enjoys watching his boys excel in their many sports and musical interests. In his downtime, George enjoys listening to vinyl records, writing, and making homemade wine, and can also be found enjoying many outdoor activities, such as skiing, kayaking, and hiking.

“My passion is respecting the dignity of my patients while upholding my values of compassion, trust, empathy, professionalism, and accountability.” Diana came to us in 2007 and became our Director of Nursing in 2016. She graduated from Lakeland Community College in 2003 and has been a registered nurse for 20 years.

Amber joined our team in 2017 as our Assistant Director of Nursing. She is a Kent State University graduate. She enjoys educating herself and others. We are so lucky to have her because of her knowledge of infection control and long-term care.

“I am passionate about making people realize their ability and helping them understand what their bodies are capable of.” Renee has been a part of the ACNRC team for about 5 months and 3 years in an LTC setting. She is a 5-year board member of the Kent State PTA Advisory Board.  She married her childhood sweetheart and together they have 4 children. They are a very proud military family who enjoy volunteering for local veteran organizations. Renee and her family spend a lot of their free time going to sporting events and watching live music.

“Do your best at everything you do.” Amy is a mother of 3 kids, and she has been married to her husband for 17 years. She is originally from Butler, Pennsylvania and has lived in Ashtabula County for 18 years. Amy has been an MDS Nurse for 15 years and has worked here at ACNRC for 17 years. She is a Member of AAPACN American Association of Post Acute Care Nursing.

Chelsey has been handling Resident Accounts here for almost a year now. She came with therapy experience and was excited to start a new path adding to her list of abilities. She has been married for 16 years and has 2 children. She and her family enjoy sports, camping, and traveling.

“I care very much about this facility I am someone that wants to do the best that I can at work and for my family.” Connie has worked here for 35 years. She retired after 32 years and came back 3 years ago. Connie is a mom of 2 girls, one of whom is a nurse here at ACNRC and has been married for 28 years. She is also an Ashtabula County resident.

Bio

David has been a part of the ACNRC team for about 3 years and has worked his way up to the Director position. He has been doing maintenance for a little over 10 years and loves troubleshooting and problem-solving. “The satisfaction that I get from helping the residents is what makes working at ACNRC so great and fulfilling.” David grew up in Albion, PA, and moved to Ohio almost 15 years ago. He is married with 2 children and calls Conneaut his home. David is musically inclined and enjoys playing guitar, drums, and piano in his free time.

“I have a passion for caring for others almost to a fault.” Donna has been at ACNRC for 39 and a half years, then retired in December 2022. She returned immediately and now has been here for 40 and a half years. She has been our Human Resource Director for 19 years. She received 2 years of formal training in Human Resource Management from Lakeland Community College, Phlebotomist and STNA. She is currently a member of the SHRM society. She is a native of Ashtabula County and has now lived in Mahoning County for the past 14 years. She has 2 children and 4 grandchildren for whom her world revolves around. She values time spent with her family and friends.

I am passionate about life and bringing a little bit of joy and happiness to those around me. My values are doing and being the best that I can, honesty and confidentiality.” Janet is a mom of 3 grown children, and 4 grandchildren, who are her everything. She has been married to the love of her life for the past 25 years. She is a lifelong resident of Kingsville/North Kingsville. She started with ACNRC after graduating in 1979 from ACJVS until her retirement in 2010 and came back to us in her prior position in 2020.  Janet has been with us for a total of 33 years and has been the Payroll Manager and Human Resources for 28 years.

Jason is a new addition to our team and comes to us from Seattle, Washington. He has been working in environmental services for a little over 4 years. “I love what I do for work” he says. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, camping, hiking, hanging out with his friends, and playing video games. He is such a wonderful and upbeat addition to our team!

Julie has been with the ACNRC team for 7 years and has been doing Medical Records for the last 2 years. She has been an Ashtabula County resident for the past 54 years and serves as a historian for the Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival Committee and is a member of East Plymouth Grange. Her greatest joys are her husband, 2 children and working at ACNRC. In her off time, Julie enjoys local history, sewing, crocheting and being outdoors.

Kim joined the ACNRC team over years ago and has been managing Central Supply for the past 7 years. She is a lifelong Ashtabula County resident and a proud mom of 3 sons. She is passionate about her faith, collects dolls from the ’60s and ’70s, enjoys motorcycle riding, and visits her family in Texas.

She is passionate about her residents and makes sure that their needs are being met. She values her family because they helped her become the person that she is today.

“My desire is to assist our elderly and their families, ensuring that all their care needs, both physically and financially, are achieved.  I am passionate about making sure our elderly are being treated with respect and are given the opportunities that they deserve.” Pam joined us a little over 4 years ago with 20-plus years of administrative and business office experience in Nursing Homes and Mental Health. She earned her associate and bachelor’s degrees at Kent State University in computers and technology. She is a lifelong Ashtabula resident and a single mother of 2 children and has 2 grandchildren.  She loves spending her spare time with family, friends, and her animals.

Regina joined our squad almost a year ago and brings a wealth of experience in Healthcare and Community Relations. She has worked in healthcare since 2005 and transitioned to SNF’s in 2014 because of her love for the senior population. She is currently serving as the Secretary for the Ashtabula Senior Care Network and is a member of the Alzheimer Association walk committee. She is a single mom who spends most of her free time with her son, lifelong friends and family.

“I’m driven to help our residents stay active and have fun in the process.” Robin is the newest addition to the ACNRC family, joining us a little over 3 months ago. She brings us over 8 years of experience as an Activities Director and has her certification. She has lived in Ashtabula County all her life, has 3 sons and 10 grandchildren. In her free time, she loves to garden, take long walks, and spend time with family.

Rose started with us in 1999 and has been the Social Services Director since 2005. She is a lifelong Ashtabula County resident who graduated from Kent State University with an associate degree in human services and a bachelor’s degree in general studies with a minor in sociology. It is her priority to be kind and mindful of the environment and the residents she serves.

“I am passionate about my family and my residents receiving the best care. I value honor, respect, compassion, and dignity for my residents as well as my residents living a fulfilled life while under our care.” Shelby has been with us for 5 years and a unit manager for 2, working alongside her mom here. She graduated from Knoedler University in 2018 and started directly with ACNRC. She is an Ashtabula County resident and  used to be a basketball and volleyball coach at Lakeside High School.

Bio

Tammy has worked here for 24 years as the Business Office Manager/Reimbursement Manager for all 24. She has been married to her husband for 35 years who is an Air Force Veteran. They lived in Japan and New Mexico before returning to Conneaut to be with their family. She has one daughter who recently turned 27 years old. As a family they all play in a dart league, pool league and a cornhole league, year-round. Her favorite place to vacation is Myrtle Beach where she’ll move after retiring.

Bio

“My passion is people. My values come from my Christian upbringing.” Traci comes to us after having worked for the Ashtabula County Board of Developmental Disabilities AshCraft Industries for 27 years. She is a trained Medical Assistant, with several certifications through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. She has been with ACNRC for 5 years and has been one of our Social Workers for 4 and a half years. She is a life-long Ashtabula County resident and enjoys spending time with her 2 kids and husband of 36 years.
